My how time flies…

I can’t believe it’s been this long since I’ve posted anything on this blog. I’ve been so busy writing for other people and posting to my Parenting Help me blog, that I’ve neglected Wimpy Witness.

It’s easy to see how we can do the same thing to God… Get so busy with our every day living we forget to give him even a few minutes of our day.

Here we are in 2009, making resolutions we probably won’t keep, setting up goals that are based on our own desires, making our coveting lists. This use to be the time that I would plan to take at least a week off, to just seek God and His plan for my new year. I would put aside all thoughts of work and just focus on spending time with God.

This year, I’ve had so much work scheduled that I basically worked straight through the holidays on through New Years and just finally came up to take a breather when I realized I had missed the first week of the year and my time with God. I’m so glad that God is so forgiving, and patient. I’m planning on taking a God vacation next week. Can’t wait.
